Privacy notice

This notice explains what Fusha does with your personal data. It is written to be read, not to be survived. If something here is unclear, write to info@fusha.ai and we will explain it properly.
This website
The site you are reading sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Nobody is counting your visit, and there is no banner to click away because there is nothing to consent to.
If you enter your email address on the waiting list, we store that address and the date you gave it. We use it once, to tell you Fusha has launched. We do not sell it, share it, or add it to anything else. Ask us at any time and we will delete it — no explanation needed.
The app
What we store

We do not ask for your name, your age, your location, or your contacts. We do not track you across other apps or websites, and Fusha contains no advertising.
A word about the word cards
When you look up a word that nobody has looked up before, the word itself is sent to an AI provider to generate the card. The text you type into the search field leaves our servers for this purpose.
That request contains the word and the language you want it explained in. It does not contain your name, your email address, or your account identifier — the provider has no way to connect a lookup to a person. Depending on which provider serves the request, this processing may take place outside the European Economic Area under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Cards are shared between users. If someone else has already looked up that word, no request goes out at all and nothing leaves our servers.
Who processes data on our behalf

Why we are allowed to do this
- To provide the service you asked for (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Your account, your words and your progress exist because you signed up for an app that keeps them.
- Because you agreed (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). The waiting list, and nothing else. You can withdraw that at any time.
How long we keep it
Your account data stays until you delete your account, after which it is removed within 30 days. Waiting list addresses are deleted once the launch email has gone out, or sooner if you ask. Word cards themselves are not personal data — they are shared reference content and stay in the app.
What you can ask for
Under the GDPR you may ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to what we are doing with it. Write to info@fusha.ai and you will hear back within a month, usually a good deal sooner.
If you think we are handling this badly, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. We would rather you told us first, but it is your right either way.
Changes
If this notice changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the app before it takes effect. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
